Kerani: Terms of Sale and Refunds

Kerani: EFS Assistant, by Christopher Guo. Last updated: 8 November 2026

1. Who sells Kerani

Kerani is made and sold by Christopher Guo ("I", "me"). Premium is paid for by card through Stripe, which is a payment processor. Stripe is not the seller: I am, and I issue your receipts. Google is not the seller. Kerani is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Malaysian Judiciary.

2. Plans

One Premium subscription covers one Google account: every computer where you sign in to Kerani with that account. Prices are shown at checkout in Malaysian ringgit and may change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

3. Subscriptions

Premium renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time with the "Manage subscription" button in Settings, which opens Stripe's customer portal under Plan. Premium stays on until the end of the paid month. Kerani then carries on with the free features. Nothing you saved is removed.

4. Refunds

If Premium doesn't work for you, email me within 14 days of your first payment and I'll refund it in full. For a monthly renewal you didn't mean to make, email within 7 days of the renewal and it will be refunded if Premium hasn't been used since that renewal. Refunds go back to the original card, through Stripe.

5. Licence

A licence key is for the person who bought it, and covers one Google account. The key is shown on the payment success page and on your receipts. After payment, Kerani switches Premium on by itself. Please don't share keys with anyone else or try to get around the licence check.

6. Using Kerani responsibly

7. No warranty; limits

EFS is run by the Malaysian Judiciary, which may change it at any time. Kerani may then stop working until it is updated. Alerts, downloads and cause list searches depend on your computer, Chrome and EFS all running, so do not rely on Kerani as your only way of tracking deadlines or directions. To the extent the law allows, Kerani is provided "as is". Liability is limited to the amount you paid for Kerani in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 that cannot be excluded.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
